Start Date/Time:
Wednesday, May 22, 2013 10:00 AM
End Date/Time:
Thursday, May 23, 2013 6:00 PM
Recurring Event:
One time event
Importance:
Normal Priority
Location:
Asturias, Spain
Description:

As LNG facilities around the world become more common, it is important that any individual who may be responsible for Risk Analysis, Hazard Identification, design or implementation of incident mitigation systems or incident response at such may be familiar with correct tactics for normal hydrocarbon fuels, the special characteristics of LNG mean that different strategies might be required.

This workshop describes the hazardous properties of LNG and the potential scenarios that can occur along with possible mitigation strategies. Therefore those responsible for developing incident response strategies who attend the workshop can make strategy decisions on a more knowledgeable basis.

The theory is supported by practical demonstrations for delegates to experience first hand the special characteristics and behavior of LNG.
