Corpus industrial firefighters announce construction of new fire station and administration building
Refinery Terminal Fire Company (RTFC) has announced construction of a new 39,221 square foot fire station and a 12,246 square foot administration building.
The buildings will be located on a 21-acre lot on McBride Lane in Corpus Christi, TX. Construction began April 1 and will be completed in the Spring of 2015. The fire station will include seven drive-through bays with 11,000 square feet of living quarters and training room for the firefighters.
The fire station will replace the current fire station built in 1961 at 4802 Up River Road.
“Refinery Terminal Fire Company looks forward to moving into the new facility, which will decrease response time and enhance our response efficiency,” an RTFC spokesperson said.
