About Industrial Fire World
Since 1985, Industrial Fire World has been the primary information source for industrial fire and emergency response managers. We were founded by David White, who envisioned greater safety in industrial fire and emergency response through timely delivery of reliable, real world expertise as well as research and testing updates. At that time, industrial fire and emergency response managers had few opportunities to exchange information with peers within their company, and seldom received information from peers in other companies. No one watched out for issues that affected options for managing complex fire protection needs of massive proportions.
David White started Industrial Fire World as both a magazine to link these fire and emergency response managers to timely information on a bi-monthly basis, and an annual conference that draws managers world wide and gives them a time and place to learn from each other, look at alternatives offered by new technology and strategy, and also, if they choose, hold company planning and training sessions in coordination with the conference. This web site provides a quick link to valuable, reliable resources, an opportunity to search articles and incident logs since 1995, and a calendar of training in addition to the annual Industrial Fire World Conference and Exposition.
The conference program, magazine and web site content provide both commercial product and services information and practical application information from research, testing, and documentation of lessons learned from incidents that occur.
Today’s industrial fire and emergency response managers are subject to corporate mergers, downsizing, economy driven decisions and environmental and political policy directives. We strive to help them keep abreast of options that will help them be successful with the resources available to them. Send David White a message at davidw@fireworld.com to share your information needs or to find out about contract training and consulting services he provides.
