Grand Rapids, MI: A warehouse went up in flames and spilled an estimated 20,000 gallons of petroleum products including hydraulic oils, starting fluids, and racing fuel, into a channel that flows into the Mississippi River. There were multiple explosions as 55-gallon drums and cases of petroleum products exploded. Fire-fighters reported about 20 such explosions sending fireballs up to 150 feet into the air.
