Pierce announces winner of its Long Haul sweepstakes to benefit the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation
Pierce Manufacturing Inc., an Oshkosh Corporation [NYSE: OSK] company, presented Specialist Noel Bossen of Fort Bliss, Texas, a customized Ford F-150 4 x 4 SuperCrew pickup truck as the winner in its Support for the Long Haul program to benefit the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation (NFFF). Since forming a relationship with the NFFF, Pierce has generated donations of more than $340,000 to assist the organization.
"Pierce is proud to champion the important mission of the NFFF through programs like Support for the Long Haul,” said Jim Johnson, Oshkosh Corporation executive vice president and president, Fire & Emergency. “The monies raised will directly assist the families and loved ones of firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice.”
Specialist Bossen was presented the grand prize while on duty at Fort Bliss. Specialist Bossen is a member of the 511th Intelligence Company.
