110th anniversary of famous Massachusetts industrial disaster that killed 22

There has never been a worse disaster in Tewksbury, Massachusetts, than the explosion of two magazines of a munitions company, the United States Cartridge Co. On July 29, 1903, a massive explosion killed 22 persons, injured 70, and leveled or damaged some 70 houses in Riverside Park, near the Concord River.
