International Fog nozzle now available through IFW website store
Vol. 26 Spring
International Fog Inc. of Portland, OR, has become the first fire fighting equipment manufacturer to make its products available through the Industrial Fire World website store at http://orders.fireworld.com.
Designed by entrepreneur and former firefighter Eugene Ivy, the International Fog First Attack nozzle gives responders immediate access into a burning structure by means of a stainless steel piercing tip that also creates a pattern of fine water droplets.
The system creates a stream that looks like a mist or fog, absorbing and extinguishing the fire in a decreased amount of time when compared to other systems.
Using a patented Kevlar™ rotor, the IFI First Attack Nozzle™ is the only nozzle that creates a three layer, 30-foot fog pattern in front of the firefighter that reduces radiant heat by 90 percent. In addition, the nozzle can easily be handled by just one firefighter even at over 300 PSI.
The IFI product line available through IFW includes 1.5-inch and 2.5-inch attack nozzles, a variety of containment system nozzles designed for use with pumps and transfer stations, hazmat decontamination showers and nozzles for use in aviation fires.
