Extinguishing flammable liquid fires
Williams Fire announces new generation of foam
Volume 24, No. 5

Williams Fire & Hazard Control has announced the next generation of ThunderStorm? and T-Storm? foam concentrates for use in extinguishing flammable liquid fires.

WFHC, based in Mauriceville, TX, is recognized as a leader in flammable liquid fire fighting and specialty fire fighting equipment. It is the only American owned and privately held company in the world specializing in these fields.

"Our company mission since inception in 1980 has been to develop the safest and most effective means for success against the challenges industrial fire emergencies present to the responder. We have a long history of developing new technologies tailor made for industrial fire response --?such as the first self-educting nozzle, Hydro-Foam and Hydro-Chem equipment, Daspit Tool, and of course the most effective foam concentrate available," offered Eric LaVergne, President of Williams Fire & Hazard Control.

"This latest generation will produce greater performance listings and approvals, and will be 100 percent compatible in adjunct mixtures with current ThunderStorm? reserves," LaVergne said. In light of evolutionary trends in fuel stocks and polar solvent blends seen in the marketplace, ThunderStorm? continues to provide effective applications to both hydrocarbon and polar solvent fuels in one product."

"As industrial fire responders, our lives depend on these tools and we constantly strive to make them better and better. We push the limits of all our equipment to be the best tools available when we face a fire ... our clients expect no less."

ThunderStorm? labeling will now simply indicate a "B" on the end of the product reference code, i.e. ThunderStorm? 1x3 F-601B. Learn WFHC's innovative approach to developing fire suppression resources for evolving industrial needs in the November-December issue of IFW.
